Solence Energy Moves Forward with Major Solar Park in Limpopo (SA)

February 2025 – Solence Energy has officially submitted a permit application for the development of a major scalable solar park in Limpopo, South Africa.

This project has a potential scalability exceeding 20 thousand hectares, representing a potential production volume of 35.000 MW (35 GW). This marks a significant step toward expanding renewable energy capacity in the region.

This initiative aligns with our mission to drive sustainable energy solutions in the global market space, and specifically supports the expansion of electricity capacity in the region.

With a major part of the South African mining sector concentrating in the region, this will have a significant positive impact on the economic activity and job creation in the region.
